Quality and manufacturing

Eight quality stages, six production stages

Every valve we ship is pressure tested, and every batch of material is traceable to its mill certificate. Buyers and third-party inspectors are welcome to audit any stage of the process.

Quality management process

Eight controlled checkpoints, from order review to traceable, tested delivery.

Order review and quality planning
01

Order review and quality planning

Before production starts, engineers and the quality team review the order together. Medium, pressure rating, temperature, end connection standard, material and actuation are confirmed against your drawing, and the inspection and test plan, material specification, test pressure and acceptance criteria are fixed for the job.

Key checks
Valve type, material, pressure rating, end connection standard, medium and temperature, actuation, test pressure and acceptance criteria.
Records
Order review sheet, inspection and test plan (ITP), approved drawing and bill of materials.
Incoming material inspection (IQC)
02

Incoming material inspection (IQC)

Every heat and batch of body, bonnet and trim material arrives with a material certificate, and the chemical composition is verified before the batch is released to the shop. Castings are checked for blowholes, sand inclusion and surface cracks; stems, seats, gaskets, packing, fasteners and actuators are checked against the drawing and the approved supplier list.

Key checks
Chemical composition, casting soundness, dimensions of purchased parts, and material certificates against the order specification.
Records
Material certificate for each heat, IQC inspection report, quarantine tag for a rejected batch.
In-process inspection (IPQC)
03

In-process inspection (IPQC)

Machining is released only after first-article approval. Operators check each piece for flange drilling, face-to-face length, thread, critical diameters and sealing-face finish, while the inspector patrol-inspects at a fixed frequency and records the actual measured values rather than a simple pass or fail.

Key checks
First article before the batch is released, flange drilling, face-to-face length, thread, bore and critical diameters, sealing-face flatness and roughness.
Records
First-article inspection report, patrol inspection record with measured values, machine setting record.
Assembly control and serial numbering
04

Assembly control and serial numbering

Assembly follows an issued drawing and bill of materials in a dedicated area. Seats, gaskets, stem, packing and disc are fitted, and the gland and body bolts are tightened with a torque wrench to the specified value. Each valve is assembled as a single unit and given its own serial number.

Key checks
Component identity against the bill of materials, seat and gasket fitting, gland and body bolt torque, actuator mounting and travel setting.
Records
Assembly card for each valve, carrying the serial number, components, torque value and fitter.
Pressure and performance testing
05

Pressure and performance testing

Every valve is tested, not sampled. Shell strength, seat tightness in both directions and the back-seat test are carried out on the hydraulic test bench at the pressure required by the applicable standard (GB/T 13927, API 598 or your specification), including the full holding time. Operating torque and open and close travel are checked, and pneumatic or electric actuators are cycled to confirm limit switch and solenoid function.

Key checks
Shell strength, seat tightness in both directions, back-seat test, holding time, operating torque and travel, and actuator and solenoid function.
Records
Hydraulic test report recorded against the valve serial number and issued with the shipment on request.
Final inspection and release (OQC)
06

Final inspection and release (OQC)

Before packing, the finished valve is verified for nameplate and marking, coating and surface condition, and the cleanliness of the bore, together with the completeness of the test record and the actuator wiring or air connection drawing. A valve is released for packing only when the inspection record is signed and the test data have passed.

Key checks
Nameplate and marking, size, pressure rating, material, serial number and flow direction, coating, bore cleanliness, test record and actuator drawing.
Records
Signed final inspection record, packing list and certificate of conformity.
Nonconformance control and corrective action
07

Nonconformance control and corrective action

A valve or batch that fails any check is tagged, removed from the production flow and quarantined in a marked area. A nonconformance report records the defect, quantity, batch and cause, and the material review board decides on rework, repair, re-test or scrap. Reworked valves are re-inspected and re-tested in full.

Key checks
Defect, quantity, batch and cause; disposition of the affected goods; effectiveness of the corrective action on later batches.
Records
Nonconformance report, material review board decision, root cause analysis and corrective action report.
Traceability, records and continuous improvement
08

Traceability, records and continuous improvement

Order number, valve serial number, material certificate, machining and assembly records and test data are filed together, so any valve we deliver can be traced to its material heat, its inspection results and its test record within one working day. Records are retained for at least five years.

Key checks
Link from the valve serial number to material heat, inspection results and test data; record retention; claim response and monthly review of quality data.
Records
Quality record file for each order, five-year retention, claim log and monthly quality review.

Production process

From engineering review to export-ready packing: six controlled stages that turn your requirements into tested, certified valves.

The six production stages as a short walkthrough, without narration so it reads the same in every market.

Design and engineering support
01

Design and engineering support

Every order starts with the engineering team. Based on the working medium, pressure rating, temperature and connection standard, the right valve type and material are selected, and the technical drawing, face-to-face dimension and flange standard are confirmed before production. OEM and ODM drawings are welcome.

Raw material control, casting and forging
02

Raw material control, casting and forging

Valve bodies, bonnets and discs are produced from verified raw material such as WCB, CF8, CF8M, WC6 and ductile iron. Each batch comes with a material certificate and is checked for chemical composition before melting, so that every casting and forging meets the required strength and corrosion resistance.

Precision CNC machining
03

Precision CNC machining

Castings go through CNC turning and machining centres for flange drilling, sealing face finishing, thread cutting and stem machining. Critical dimensions are controlled within tight tolerances and verified with gauges and a coordinate measuring machine, which gives the sealing surface the flatness needed for a bubble-tight shut-off.

Assembly and fitting
04

Assembly and fitting

Assembly is carried out by experienced fitters in a dedicated workshop. Gaskets, stem, packing, disc and seat are fitted, and the handwheel or actuator mounting flange is installed to your requirement. Every valve is individually assembled, adjusted and recorded with its own identification number.

Pressure and performance testing
05

Pressure and performance testing

Before painting, every valve is tested on the hydraulic test bench: shell strength, seat tightness and the back-seat test are performed at the pressure required by the applicable standard, together with torque and operating checks. Test data are recorded against the valve serial number.

Surface treatment and export packing
06

Surface treatment and export packing

After testing, valves are shot-blasted and coated with the specified epoxy or anti-corrosion paint, then marked and dried. Finished valves are protected with caps and wrapped before being packed in plywood cases or on pallets sized for container loading, with export documents handled as required.
